Following MCP’s core philosophy of community-based restoration efforts, we offer everyone the opportunity to join our team, regardless of background or prior experience. Come with a love for the ocean, the will to work for the ocean, and an openness to learn – we will support you with the rest!

The volunteer program is an opportunity to apply your skills towards the restoration of our seas and marine life, learn new skills, contribute to ongoing projects (or start new projects!), connect with the team, and connect more deeply with the ocean and all that it entails. The time commitment and level of involvement is flexible and tailored to each volunteer.

Find Your Fit!

There is a variety of volunteer tracks available based on existing skillset or interests.

• Social Media: Manage social media accounts of MCP and update all activities in real time.
• Content Writing: Write content for social media (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn) and accounts for MCP’s activities
• Ocean Literacy Program: Design workshops and activities for students on creating ocean literacy and climate awareness
• Graphic Design: Create engaging designs for social media posts, announcements, merchandise and more to increase engagement and spread awareness about MCP’s mission
• Marine Research: Research, writing and documentation on conservation, coral and Pakistan’s marine ecosystems.
• Photography & Videography: Capture MCP’s activities, events and work for documentation, social media, and more.
• Field Coordination: Manage and coordinate fieldwork in MCP’s operations.
• Proposal/Report Writing: Document MCP’s efforts and create proposals for grants and funding to support the conservation work.
• Coral Propagation: Assist us with coral gardening and nursery creation. Only for certified divers with coral gardening courses completed.
